Disposable healthcare curtains are often made from polypropylene, a material that can be recycled through suitable specialist processes. But a recyclable material does not automatically mean every used curtain can be recycled.
As part of our managed service, we can discuss collection and potential recycling options where appropriate facilities, segregation requirements and local processing pathways are available. Where recycling is not feasible, we arrange responsible disposal.
